College Fund!

Auntie M was concerned that Aiden would be crowded out by his parent's career ambitions.  The latest outfit should help minimize any concern.  Also, Dad opened a college fund for Aiden.  No harm in starting early.

Aiden's Skype Interview

Aiden completed his first interview on Skype.  He interacted with the screen with excitement and made grunting sounds.

Aiden's First Nightmare !?

Mom is convinced that Aiden had his first nightmare when he woke up suddenly screaming and with hand spasms.  Dad thinks that is just what babies do.

New Baby ... Watermelon

The future prize winning watermelon is 9.75" round.  I've curious if the watermelon can catch up to Aiden? Though it looks a little sick. I haven't been able to find the U.S. Dept of Agriculture watermelon growth charts yet.

Stroller Derby - Aiden was edged out at the line :(

Stroller Derby on Sunday.  We greased up the stroller wheels and checked the air pressure.  Unfortunately, Aiden's Stroller lost at the line in a photo finish.  Better luck next time. I'm expecting a future 5k rematch in the near future.

Brown or Blue Eyes?

Morning Workout

Aiden decided to get up this morning put on his jogging I mean rocking outfit.  He was very alert this morning after sleeping through the night. 

Happy Belated 1-Month Birthday

Aiden went the the doctors Thursday for his one month checkup.  He weight in at about 10.5 lbs and is growing well.  I revised the growth charts page today.

Björn Baby

Aiden definitely want lots of attention and warmth.  The björn baby carrier is the only way for dad to get baby to sleep without mom.  Not the best photo of a tired dad.

First Social Smile & Bunica On The Way

Baby had first social smile today with mom. He exchanged two lovely smiles with mom after feeding this morning.  He was alert with eyes wide open and Mom was happy to see him progressing towards his development milestones. 

Also only 16 days until Bunica arrives to see baby Aiden.  Everyone is super excited for the two to finally share time together.

Last Night Yesterday

Yesterday was a long night for dad.  Held and feed baby from 1am until about 4am.  It was a good bonding experience but I would perfer to avoid a frequent repeat.  Hoping for an earlier bedtime this evening.

Dad's First Day Back at Work

Dad completed his first day at work and evening class.  Mom handled day one at home well too.  Hopefully, we can continue the trend in the future.

Baby Bath

Aiden had his first baby bath.  He likes the water.  The whole operation went well until daddy dumped water down Aiden's month when rinsing off the soap. Not the best photos but here are a few.

Operation Charlotte

Auntie M flew in today from Charlotte.  A great relief with a eager set of helpful hands.  The four of us went to the farmers market in the county.  Had Chipotle for lunch a family tradition of sorts when traveling.

Auntie M cooked up a flavorful pot of chicken soup enough food for a few more days :).
